When Roger Glass came to Dodds Memorials, he knew he was looking for something that mimicked the Greek Parthenon but incorporated his Catholic Religion as well. As we worked with him he decided to choose the Barre granite from Rock of Ages because of the quality and the perpetual warranty. The four sculpted statues are Catholic figures and represent the four names located above them. The memorial was to be for his parents who had passed and were the founders of the company that Roger ran. He was known in the Dayton area as a great philanthropist. The 8 crypt garden-style mausoleum has a full patio and took about 2 weeks to build. It was completed just weeks before Roger unexpectedly passed away. He was so proud when it was completed and the memorial was featured and photographed by numerous blogs and websites in the area.
